Today is a landmark in Screaming Females history. On this very day in the year of our good Lord 2010 our van, the "Big Red Pig" died on the side of I-10 eastbound outside of Las Cruces, New Mexico which we affectionately call, "HOLY SHIT THIS IS THE HOTTEST PLACE ON EARTH I WANT TO DIEEEEE!!!!!!"
Sputtering and hauling off the interstate, our van crept to a stop. Orders from the top came, "CALL TRIPLE A MARISSA!!!!" so I did. About one hour later, basking in the arid southwester heat, Screaming Females were miraculously rescued by a bald, bronzed, beautiful man we came to know as CHUY. He hoisted the Big Red Pig up into his tow truck, and we followed suit, cruising back to Las Cruces to have our van looked at by his nephew..."a really good mechanic".
The REALLY GOOD MECHANIC told us our fuel injection pump was F'ed and said he'd fix it for us by 9 am. SOOOO with somethin' like 800 miles to go until Austin, Screaming Females are humbly requesting some pagan prayers that we make it to Austin in time for our gig with Yellow Fever and Cowabunga Babes.

This seems to be very interesting but do u wanna know more about injection pump? what exactly it is? Injection pumps are those type of pumps which inject measured amounts of fluid into a reservoir or production system. These Injection Pumppumps are used in vehicles for pumping fuel into the cylinders of the engine

I am sorry to here about your unfortunate events in Las Cruces. They don't call New Mexico the land of entrapment for nothing. I go to school in Las Cruces and you guys have a surprisingly big fan base there. Hope next time you will stop and play a show there. I promise you will feel a bit more at home.
