Food on Tour!

First - Tickets are still available for Mercury Lounge on Apr 24. So get yourself a couple - http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/00004464C72D78FC?artistid=1419526&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=60

So I just realized that one of the things I'm most excited about for tour is getting to eat at all my favorite spots around the country. Here are a few I can't miss:

May 23 - Carbondale, IL - Longbranch Coffee House!!!!
Jun 1 & 2 - Seattle, WA and Portland, OR - Coffee everywhere!!!
Jun 10 - Austin, TX - Tamale House
Jun 13 - Athens, GA - The Grit
Jun 19 - Portland, ME - Silly's

Got any suggestions for your town? We are vegetarian, poor, and really love healthy hippie breakfast!

When I travel, food is one of my favorite parts of the trip as well.

Next time you're in Austin, you should go to Mr. Natural - vegetarian, largely vegan Mexican food. Sunflower seed and tofu tamales = DROOL.

Since the last time you were in Carbondale the Jewel of India has moved into the old Corner Diner spot on the strip and has an Indian buffet. They also serve breakfast. You have to try it. Good stuff.

I heard you guys were vegetarian? If that is the case you should try out Handlebar in Chicago. Great brunch.
